The Transport Processes team takes 1st place at the greenhouse.ruhr scholarship programme! Their groundbreaking shower heat recovery innovation impressed the jury with its strong social impact, technical excellence, and unique market potential.

1. Platz für Team der Transport Processes beim greenhouse.ruhr-Stipendienprogramm

Aus über 40 sozialen und ökologischen Geschäftsideen hat die innovative Erfindung zur Wärmerückgewinnung beim Duschen von Dr.-Ing. Michael-David Fischer den 1. Platz gewonnen. In den vergangenen sechs Monaten hatten Dr.-Ing. Michael-David Fischer, Simon Baier, Laura Jakobsen-Urwald, Luis Ohm und Andre Grütering die Möglichkeit, ihre Geschäftsidee mit Unterstützung verschiedener Expert:innen im Rahmen des greenhouse.ruhr-Stipendienprogramms weiterzuentwickeln. 

In einem abschließenden Pitch-Contest konnten die acht besten Teams ihre Geschäftsidee einer 17-köpfigen Fachjury präsentieren. Diese setzte sich aus Vertreter:innen der Wirtschaftsförderung Dortmund, der Wirtschaftsagentur Hamm, des Technologie Zentrums Dortmund, Professor:innen der TU Dortmund und der FH Dortmund sowie Expert:innen zur Unternehmensgründung zusammen.

Das Team der Transport Processes überzeugte die Jury insbesondere durch den großen gesellschaftlichen Impact ihrer Geschäftsidee, ihr herausragendes Kompetenzprofil und die Alleinstellungsmerkmale ihres Produkts.

From over 40 social and ecological business ideas, Dr.-Ing. Michael-David Fischer's innovative invention for heat recovery during showering won 1st place. Over the past six months, Dr.-Ing. Michael-David Fischer, Simon Baier, Laura Jakobsen-Urwald, Luis Ohm, and Andre Grütering had the opportunity to further develop their business idea with the support of various experts as part of the greenhouse.ruhr scholarship programme. 

In a final pitch contest, the eight best teams presented their business ideas to a 17-member expert jury. The jury consisted of representatives from the Economic Development Agency Dortmund, the Hamm Economic Agency, the Dortmund Technology Centre, professors from TU Dortmund University and Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, as well as business start-up experts.

The Transport Processes team particularly impressed the jury with the significant social impact of their business idea, their outstanding skills profile and the unique selling points of their product.
