Dr.-Ing. Michael-David Fischer invited as keynote speaker at GAMM 2025 in Poznań

Dr.-Ing. Michael-David Fischer was invited by the International Association of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics to give a keynote lecture at the 95th annual meeting in Poznan (Poland). He presented the results of his joint teaching research ‘Platform for structured self-directed learning and gamification in fluid mechanics’ with Dr.-Ing. Konrad Boettcher in the newly created section ‘Modern Teaching and Didactics in Mathematics and Mechanics’. Furthermore, he gave a lecture on ‘Modelling transient compressible subcritical vessel outflows’ in the section ‘Turbulence and Reactive Flows’. He presented a new dimensionless number for the self-similar description of pressure relief.
